Yes, the Creative Success Show has moved, rebranded, and it’s all happening as a result of my personal transformation and consolidation…

You may not know this…

But I’ve been overwhelmed, my attention and time spread too thin, and I’ve just been growing…

#GrowthIsGood

As long as it isn’t too much growth around the gut…

So, what’s happened?

Well, I’ve been going crazy… And a little overwhelmed with producing content for this website along with…

http://wwwABSolutelyLean.com

http://www.TheAthleteSummit.com

http://CompleteDetox21.com

And of course…

http://TannerGers.com

That’s five sites all together!

Yowzers… But stay with me for a moment…

Plus, I’ve taken a position as executive director at My Blind Spot, a US-based non-profit who focuses on online accessibility and usability…

And a consultative role for Linkages Experience, a for-profit SaaS company who focuses on job board accessibility.

In fact, we recently just made the state of Arizona’s job board accessible for individuals, like me, who use assistive technology to navigate the web, spy on others on FB, and write blog posts like this…

Or just apply for jobs. Either way…

If you’ve been following me for any amount of time…

Or have read my About page on this site…

Then you know I’m blind!

If all of this wasn’t enough, I got a crazy wild hair up my ass and decided to do even more…

In January, I started back at school full-time…

And I’ll keep going until I earn my master’s degree.

Why? Because I’m still young… That’s why?

Y B S?

Yeah…

YBS Your Blind Spot with Tanner Gers

That’s the rebrand of the pod, but it is a reflection of my personal transformation…

We should always be growing…

Because we are never static…

I mean, we try to achieve homeostasis… But we never really stay there…

You always need more oxygen or less…

That’s why you breathe heavy when working out…

And not so much when you’re in a deep ass Netflix binge session…

P.S. Very excited for Underwood in the upcoming House of Cards season…

Refocusing…

Which surprisingly has more relevance than you know right now…

You will in a sec though…

But that’s why we poop… That’s why your hair is always growing…

Because we’re always changing…

Change is inevitable.

I’m 34 right now…

So why not now?

If the resources are available to me…

As in school, education, work, more consulting work, and professional speaking…

Then why not?

Or better yet…

Y B S?

As you can probably tell…

There’s been a lot on my mind lately…

Well actually there’s been a lot weighing on my mind for the past 9 months… Or more…

And a lot of changes are happening…

But it will be worth it.

It’s tough right now… But I embrace it…

This pushing… This focus… This change will make me a better person…

A better man…

And a better husband.

Plain and simple.

The money isn’t so bad either…

While working so incredibly hard over the last 5 months, I’ve learned this…

I’ve learned that we can’t look to far ahead…

Here’s what I mean…

It’s crippling.

Yep, crippling.

There’s just too many details in the future when you look ahead…

Instead of looking down, working hard and completing what you’ve started…

That’s why I’m going back to school BTW. I need to finish what I started…

And I finally got around to doing it…

Yes, you must have direction…

You should know what the destination is…

But knowing what the destination is and focusing on every step between where you are and that place…

Are two very different things…

Because when your attention isn’t on the step you’re currently taking…

And instead it’s on what you might face when you round the corner…

Because…

Maybe you’re worried about being prepared for what’s coming…

Cough, me, cough…

You have doubts about your ability to achieve…

Cough, me again, cough…

To be successful…

And whether or not you can do it…

Cough, most everyone, cough…

You lose sight of what’s right in front of you.

And that’s when you accidentally step into a pot hole…

Or trip on a curb…

Or fall down…

When this happens, you always have the choice to get up…

And you should…

But focusing on that problem you might run into around the corner…

Is how you artificially create problems, hurdles, and obstacles that aren’t there…

What’s that you say? You know X, Y, and Z probs are coming?

Or are they just possibly coming?

Either way… It doesn’t matter… As the saying goes…

We’ll cross that bridge when we get there.

And in my life as a blind man building, creating a life that is as close to “normal” as possible…

Desperately trying to feel normal in a new world of darkness…

My blind stubborn ass sometimes had to build those fucking bridges…

Because sometimes that’s what it takes.

How bad do you want to get there?

I hope you build some bridges in your lifetime…

It’s worth it. Believe me.

But remember this…

You’d never swing that hammer while you’re busy looking, focusing, or thinking about something else…

You’ve got to focus on that nail going into that wood…

Otherwise you’ll be in for a painful, unsafe, depressing construction site…

That will probably never get finished…

Stay focused… And keep building.

If you know someone who needs help with mindset, getting started, and becoming so good they can’t be ignored…
